Heaven Of Margalla Hills “Saidpur Village”
Saidpur village is located on the outskirts of
Islamabad. It is situated on the edge of the beautiful Margalla hills and this
is a village which has its own history of Mughal-Era. And this village has a
footprints of different civilization include Ashoka, Mughal, Buddhist, Greek,
and Gandhara. Back in 2006 this village was remodeled and develops into a
tourist spot. If you did not visit to this place we will strongly recommend you
to visit this palace.
When you visit to this place first of
all you will see the main entrance gate which will show you a uniqueness of old
civilization. Saidpur village also show you traditional environment. The stone
used on the wall, horse-drawn carts and the overall environment show you the
history of Potohar region. This village has a number of renovated walkways;
things you will see in this village are old school building, traditional art
gallery and beautiful Sufi tomb. Saidpur village has also a Gurdwara and a
Hindu temple. This place provides you with many photography opportunities. This

Kalash valleys
Kalash valleys are located in Chitral
district of North Pakistan. Kalash valleys are located on the outskirts of the
Hindu Kush mountain region. The people who are living there are known as
Kalashi peoples, who have a different culture, language and religion. Times to
visit these valleys are festival time.
The festival time in Kalash Valley is:
• Chilam Joshi: May
• Uchou: autumn usually September
• Choimus: two weeks around winter
Kalash has three main valleys:
Bamburet Valley: is the largest valley
of the Kalash. This valley is the most developed valley in terms of convenience
and is popular for domestic tourist attractions. There are different hotels and
guesthouses in this valley. But still there are some hotels which are
fortunately run by Kalash people. The Kalash Guesthouse is the guest house that
provides you friendly environment and two more Kalash-owned guest houses Kalash
Galaxy and Kalash Views.
Rumbore Valley: is a small village
which is less developed and is most popular for foreign tourist attractions.
There are three guest houses in this valley and the most popular is kalash
guest house. If you are driving in Rambore, it will come to your left and you
cannot miss it! The food is delicious, family friendly and the location is very
good.
Birir Valley: is the least developed
valley. It is rarely visited by tourists, if you want to enjoy then they should
visit this valley for photography and natural beauty. It has only one guest
house Irfan Guest House.
Shandur
Shandur Chitral is located at a
distance and is famous for the Polo festival and is also known as the roof of
the world as it is the highest in the world with an elevation of 3700 meters.
The top is aircraft and can be crossed between late April and early November.
The most popular places to see in Shandur are the Polo festival, Shandur Pass
and Shandur Lake. All these places will be memorable and unforgettable for the
tourists visiting here.
Polo Festival:
Polo festival is a three-day festival
which is held every year from 7 to 9 July in Gheesar District of Gilgit
Baltistan. Match played between the pictorial district and district of Gilgit
Baltistan. There are number of tourists visiting this polo festival, especially
at national and international level. Some stalls are also open to show culture
and artwork skills and local food items are also served.
Shandur Pass:
The Shandur Pass comes on a jeep
traveling between Chitral and Gilgit, which is covered all winter and becomes
greener when melted in summer. When passing through this area of avalanche it
becomes an adventure when you are traveling on this route and land slips can
lead to road blocks and are normally very risky due to snow patches.
- Shadur Lake:
This lake is accessible from both
Chitral and Gilgit. When you are going from Chitral it is 147 kilometers and
from Gilgit Baltistan it is 197 km. It is truly a peaceful and naturally
beautiful place.
khewra Salt Mine
The Khewra salt mine near Pind Dadan Khan in the Salt Range region of Punjab, Pakistan, is actually 'Wonder of the World’. The Salt Range originated 800 million years ago, when an area of 300 km under sea water evaporated, followed by a geological stir. The crab is 100 miles south of Islamabad and is easily accessible by the M2 motorway at the Leela Interchange.
Khewra Salt Mines is the world's second largest salt mine, Pakistan's largest mine and the worlds oldest salt mine. The mine is famous for the production of the famous Pink Himalayan salt and is a major tourist attraction around 250,000 visitors a year. The Khewra Salt Mine is a magnificent journey and apart from the production and heritage of the mine, it is a magnificent place.
The mines are known not only by the locals but also by international tourists, bloggers and vloggers. Among the tourists, a large number of them are students from various schools, colleges and universities who enjoy visiting the site as well as seeing the mines in advance.
Salt wonders
While walking inside the mines, visitors come across a mosque, a model of Minar-e-Pakistan, a dispensary, Chaghi Parvat and some other colorful buildings like Marvel made of salt bricks. The luminous Sheesh-Mahal, or palace of mirrors, is another attraction in the mines illuminated with colorful bulbs with ponds made of transparent salt and water.
Cost
As ‘foreigners’ you have to paid $20 for each adult and $10 for each child. As a locals Pakistani pay 220 rupees per adult. There are also many hotels for visitors with the average package for a night is about 5000 to 8000.
