Naran valley
Naran valley is situated in Northern Pakistan, with upper Kaghan valley in Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is located 119 km from Mansehra city. The road network is not so good, but it surely drives you crazy when you reach the valley. Naran valley Is often collaborated with the word (Naran-Kaghan) as they both are gorgeous valleys with exceptional landscapes. In summers Naran receives high amount of rainfall in summers and high amount of snowfall in winters. Naran remains busy in Summers specially in vacations. Naran also have many tourist attractions nearby like Lake Saif ul Maluk, Lake Lulusar, Payala lake and many other peaks in the surroundings.
· Lake Saif ul Maluk: This lake is a source of Kunhar river and as the glaciers water come towards this beautiful lake. One of the famous quotes on Saif ul Maluk is “Fairies use to visit the lake when humans leave at night”.
· Lake Lulusar: Lulusar lake comes at the top of Saif ul Maluk and s one of the major sources of water for the region Jalkhand, Naran, Kaghan, Paras and Balakot.
· Lake Dudipatsar: This is the lake where you need to go by hiking or on a horse as there is no road network towards this lake.
· Lake Pyala: It is the lake in the form of bowl which is one of the great tourist attractions as it displays a natural bowl shape.
Naltar Valley "Hunza GB"
The gorgeous Naltar valley is situated near Gilgit and Hunza. It is almost 54 km from Gilgit. Naltar valley is the forested region known for its dramatic forest scenery. Not only this the ski competition is held at Naltar valley too. The Naltar valley consist of the road known as “Silk route” that goes towards China. There are three lakes in the Naltar valley known as 'Bashkiri Lakes' at 13 kilometers (8 mi) from Naltar Bala. The road from village to the lakes is nonmetallic and narrow alongside a stream throughout this road coming from the mountains. In winter it is almost impossible to reach the lake through any vehicle due to the snow (10 to 15 feet high) on the road.
Naltar Valley is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Northern Pakistan. The valley offers a variety of flora, fauna as well as natural scenery. There are special jeeps located in the places for the tourist to visit the Naltar lake as the route is not smooth.
Naltar valley contains a special tourist attraction and those who are visiting the Gilgit-Baltistan province because of the ski options and many different tourist attractions including the deep forest location. Hence, I suggest that those who are going to the northern area of Pakistan make sure to visit this unique peace of valley with intense greenery and environment safe place. Ski option is still there for you nevertheless.
Malam Jabba "Hindukush"
Malam Jabba is a hill station near Swat Valley in the Hindukush Valley, about 40 Kms from Saidu Sharif situated in Swat valley in KPK province of Pakistan. Not only this, Malam Jabba is home to one of the two ski resorts in Pakistan; the other is at Naltar, Gilgit Baltistan. On the main Madyan-Kalam road, the road turns to the right at Manglor town (12 km from Saidu Sahrif), for the Malam-Jabba Dara which has a series of small villages and settlements.

like Salanda, Jehanabad, Talegraam, Badar, Ser, Malam, Kishora, Spine Oba, and finally Jabba. Malam is a small village which comes prior to Kishora village on the main Malam-Jabba road. Malam is nearly 17 km from Manglor while Kishora is at 18 km distance. Jabba (12 km from Kishora) is the upper most part of the whole Dara (gorge). The Malam Jabba Ski Resort, had a ski slope of about 800m with the highest point of the slope 2804 m (9200 ft) above sea level. Malam Jabba Ski Resort was the joint effort of the Pakistan with its Austrian counterpart. The resort was equipped with modern facilities including roller/ice-skating rinks, chair lifts, skiing platforms, telephones and snow clearing equipment.
Malam Jabba is now becoming one of the top tourist attractions in Pakistan, due the new work done by the tourist company. The hotel and management of the roads is recently placed now, and people are liking it because this place is in Hindukush mountain range and the chairlift is just placed now. It is the one of the most beautiful part of Hindukush mountain range and it enhances the gorgeous glimpses of what a gorgeous landscape could be.
Nankana Sahib
Nankana sahib is a city situated in Punjab province of Pakistan. It is named after the first guru of the Sikhs, Guru Nanak, who was born in this city and began preaching here. Nankana sahib is the most important religious site for the Sikh religion. During the Akali movement, on 20 February 1921, Narain Das, the Udasi mahant (clergy) of the gurdwara at Nankana Sahib, ordered his men to fire on Akali protesters, leading to the Nankana massacre. The firing was widely condemned, and an agitation was launched until the control of this historic Janam Asthan Gurdwara was restored to the Sikhs.
Migration between India and Pakistan was continuous before independence. By the 1940s Western Punjab was predominantly Muslim and supported the Muslim League and Pakistan Movement. After independence in August 1947, the minority Sikhs and Hindus migrated to India while the Muslim refugees from India settled in the Western Punjab and across Pakistan.There are plans to construct 100 acres (40 ha) university as well as hospitals and health care facilities by the district government with mutual interest of local communities and family of Rai Bular.
In 2007, the Pakistan government announced a plan to set up a university on Sikh religion and culture at Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak. Chairman of Pakistan's Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), Gen (R) Zulfikar Ali Khan, said that "The international Guru Nanak University planned at Nankana Sahib would have the best architecture, curricula and research Centre on Sikh religion and culture",
Chitral (The fairyland of Pakistan)

Chitral is situated in the province KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and is the largest area of this province covering almost 15000 km2. It is the northernmost district of Pakistan which borders with Gilgit-Baltistan. Chitral is counted amongst the highest regions of the world, sweeping from 1,094 meters at Arandu to 7,726 meters at Tirichmir, and packing over 40 peaks more than 6,100 meters in height. The district has a population of about 414,000. The general population is mainly of the Kho people, who speak the Khowar, which is also spoken in parts of Yasin, Gilgit, Dir and Swat. Chitral is also home to the Kalash tribe, who live in Bamburet and two other remote valleys southwest of Chitral town.
Famous food of Chitral
(Pilaf) usually of beef which is preboiled until it is extremely tender is an essential dish at large gathering and the meat is served lying on top of the rice. Salty buttered tea is popular in Chitral as is green tea and very bitter black tea called Troq chai (sour tea) Honey, cheese and fresh fruits also make up a staple part of the Chitrali diet as these products are part of the local mountain agricultural tradition. The influence of Punjab is seen in the popularity of lamb and chicken karahi. Uzbek dumplings or mantu are also very popular. Dried apricots (chamber) and mulberries (kitori) are both an important part of the local diet and are also exported to other parts of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Arab states of Persian Gulf.


Chitrali clothing
The people of Chitral have their own traditional dress, embroider by their owns elves. The people of Chitral mostly wear Shalwar Kameez which is the national dress of Pakistan. Women wear Dupattas and shawls along with shalwar kameez. The most popular headdress of Chitrali men is the woolen Pakhol.” In winters, men wear long baggy coats having long sleeves known as the shuqa. These coats are also made out of wool. While the women also use some embroidery caps mainly in winter season, the local language it’s called as khoi.

Chitral sports
Traditional sport of Chitral is polo. World’s highest polo ground (Shandur) is also located in this area, where the annual polo festival takes place between July 7-9. This cultural integrity became an icon and attracts people especially tourists from all over the world. Chitral is recognized as a very peace Preserving culture of Chitral full region in Pakistan as well as in the world.
