Naran Valley


Naran valley is situated in Northern Pakistan, with upper Kaghan valley in Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is located 119 km from Mansehra city. The road network is not so good, but it surely drives you crazy when you reach the valley. Naran valley Is often collaborated with the word (Naran-Kaghan) as they both are gorgeous valleys with exceptional landscapes. In summers Naran receives high amount of rainfall in summers and high amount of snowfall in winters. Naran remains busy in Summers specially in vacations. Naran also have many tourist attractions nearby like Lake Saif ul Maluk, Lake Lulusar, Payala lake and many other peaks in the surroundings.

·         Lake Saif ul Maluk: This lake is a source of Kunhar river and as the glaciers water come towards this beautiful lake. One of the famous quotes on Saif ul Maluk is “Fairies use to visit the lake when humans leave at night”.
·         Lake Lulusar: Lulusar lake comes at the top of Saif ul Maluk and s one of the major sources of water for the region Jalkhand, Naran, Kaghan, Paras and Balakot.
·         Lake Dudipatsar: This is the lake where you need to go by hiking or on a horse as there is no road network towards this lake.
·         Lake Pyala: It is the lake in the form of bowl which is one of the great tourist attractions as it displays a natural bowl shape.
