Kalash valleys

Kalash valleys are located in Chitral district of North Pakistan. Kalash valleys are located on the outskirts of the Hindu Kush mountain region. The people who are living there are known as Kalashi peoples, who have a different culture, language and religion. Times to visit these valleys are festival time


The festival time in Kalash Valley is:

Chilam Joshi: May
Uchou: autumn usually September
Choimus: two weeks around winter


Kalash has three main valleys:

Bamburet Valley: is the largest valley of the Kalash. This valley is the most developed valley in terms of convenience and is popular for domestic tourist attractions. There are different hotels and guesthouses in this valley. But still there are some hotels which are fortunately run by Kalash people. The Kalash Guesthouse is the guest house that provides you friendly environment and two more Kalash-owned guest houses Kalash Galaxy and Kalash Views.


Rumbore Valley: is a small village which is less developed and is most popular for foreign tourist attractions. There are three guest houses in this valley and the most popular is kalash guest house. If you are driving in Rambore, it will come to your left and you cannot miss it! The food is delicious, family friendly and the location is very good.


Birir Valley: is the least developed valley. It is rarely visited by tourists, if you want to enjoy then they should visit this valley for photography and natural beauty. It has only one guest house Irfan Guest House.
